Sick of the Flash
When will web designers wake up and realise that Flash is not the ideal way to present information on a website?
Here I am, trying to research a story on James Bond when I come up against the website www.007.com
I'm looking for information on the new Bond movie Quantum of Solace but all I can see is a warning window telling me to install the latest Flash Player.

No Flash - No kidding
Well I can't do that.
The website offers no links or pointers to where I can find any non-Flash information about the new movie.
Whatever the intentions of the movie-makers were to present any preview or background information on the new Bond movie is wasted because I can't see it.
This is not an isolated case. It happens time and time and time again.
Even when you do get through to some Flash websites, you're bombarded with annoying moving images and information bars that seem to be there more to impress fellow Flash designers than impart any useful information.
One wrong click and your hurled back to the start and forced to wait until the whole thing re-loads.
Thanks guys - not.
