Okay, not that disappointed.

But rather than all this discussion in the media about what the street view should and shouldn't show, wouldn't it have been better if Google had told people exactly what day they were heading down your street.

That way those that didn't want to be shown could have hidden, but those that did could have been out in force.

Imagine the fun that would have been.

People could have dressed up in their favourite fancy dress, put up some welcome posters and "Hello Mum" placards.

That way anyone taking a look at street view would have found the world all in party mode.

Surely a much better result that all those fuzzy faces walking about the place.
